Course Description

The Trade Practical will assist trainees in obtaining an international equivalency standard, allowing their skill proficiency and competency to be recognized across the globe, while also expanding the scope of prior learning recognition and providing opportunities for lifelong learning and skill development. Students will also have the chance to foster lifelong learning and skill development.

This course illuminates Building Drawing, Computer Practice, 3D Modeling in CAD, Reinforced Cement Concrete Structure, Steel Structure, Public Health and Sanitation, Road Engineering, Bridge Engineering, Railway Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Estimating and costing, Total station, Global positioning system.

✔ Tee beam and inverted beam

✔ Isometric view of steel stanchion

✔ Service plan for isolated building and sewer system

✔ Plan of a head in curve and typical longitudinal section of a road

✔ Drawing a layout plan of marshalling yard, siding loop lines, signalling points and crossing

✔ Estimation of double storied building

✔ Draw the plan, section and elevation of the building using AutoCAD

✔ Importing data from GPS devices to computer
